The new Hoadlbahn cable car takes you directly from the car park up to the Hoadl-Haus at 2,340 m in just 6 minutes, meaning that winter sports enthusiasts – together with the Olympic funicular – can get from the very bottom to the very top quickly and easily, something that very few ski resorts offer. The Axamer Lizum isn’t just for freeride pros: beginners and skiers of all other levels will find ideal slopes, safe practice areas and varied runs here.
Accommodation is at the **** Holiday Inn Innsbruck. This modern hotel offers stylishly refurbished rooms and a spacious spa and sauna area – perfect for unwinding after a long day’s skiing. Those who prefer to round off the evening on an active note can reach Innsbruck’s old town in just a few minutes, where they’ll find numerous restaurants, bars and nightlife options.
