With 300 hectares of untouched terrain and numerous north-facing slopes, this freeride hotspot offers perfect conditions for breathtaking powder adventures. Thanks to an altitude of up to 2,340 metres, Axamer Lizum is one of Austria's most snow-sure winter sports areas – and it's not without reason that it's nicknamed the ‘white roof’. The new Hoadlbahn cable car takes winter sports enthusiasts from the car park at 1,558 metres to the Hoadl-Haus at 2,340 metres in just 6 minutes, complementing the Olympia funicular as one of the fastest connections from the valley to the top – an advantage that few ski resorts offer. Our After Snow Party will once again take place in the Almbar, which is only a few metres away from the bus car park and offers the finest in hut style.
For beginners, we offer ski and snowboard courses as part of our BASE ACADEMY.

Is this your first time on skis or a snowboard? Then you've come to the right place! We start from the very beginning: from getting up safely and finding the right balance to your first attempts at braking and turning. Our certified instructors will teach you the basics with patience and fun – so that you'll feel more confident after just a few hours.
